JEANNE BERTOIA
Jeanne is an avid collector, dealer, and proprietor of Bertoia Auctions, which Jeanne began with late husband Bill Bertoia. Recognized in the antique toy and collectible world, Jeanne, has helped promote some of the finest specialized antique toy sales on record and can be seen at any number of important antique shows promoting Bertoia Auctions and continuing her husbands' legacy. As the recognized doorstop authority, she has compiled the most comprehensive book to be written on the subject and is currently at work on her second book. She is on the Board of Directors of the Antique Toy Collectors Club, and is a member of the Mechanical Bank Collectors Club, the Still Bank Collectors Club, and the Figural Cast Iron Collectors Club.
RICH BERTOIA
Auction cataloguer, and coordinator with late brother Bill Bertoia for many years, Rich's interest began very early collecting rare bottles, advertising, art glass, and eventually, toys. He has helped conduct sales of some of the most important toy collections in the world, and is a recognizable and present force promoting Bertoia Auctions at major events from coast to coast. He has written various articles on major toy collections from around the world and has authored books on Antique Motorcycle Toys and several on Antique Advertising through Schiffer Publishing.
MICHAEL BERTOIA
A graduate of the University of Vermont, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration, 23-year-old son of co-founders Jeanne Bertoia and the late William S. "Bill" Bertoia, Michael said he "grew up in a house full of antiques and learned at a young age to appreciate their beauty." Michael hopes to build a fulfilling career based on interests he has had since early childhood. In his associate's role, Michael will implement new technologies while also serving as house photographer in the catalog-production area. Michael said that as his duties expand, he looks forward to being able to travel extensively as a representative of Bertoia's.
